Scope of implemented changes
- Compulsory sustenance on processed products.
- Compulsory tagging unprocessed pork, mutton, goat and poultry.
- Visible labelling of allergens e.g. of peanuts or milk on the list of ingredients.
- Better legibility e.g. minimum size of the text: the height of a small letter must be 1.2 mm at the minimum.
- Requirements in relation to information on allergens also comprise packed food sold to restaurants and cafés
